5 aspects to achieving optimal health
- Nutrition - Not only includes the 5 food groups you should regularly eat, but also the quantity of water you consume (3 litres per day is recommended) .
- Exercise - It is recommended that you do 40 minutes of exercise 3 times a week. Specifically sessions of exercise that increase your heart rate.
- Rest and relaxation - It is recommended that you have 8 out of every 24 hours as good quality rest and/or relaxation. This does not include sitting in front of the television. Ideally reading, meditation, yoga, tai chi type relaxation or just plain rest.
- Sound nervous system - Regular chiropractic care will help your body deal with the chemical, emotional and physical stresses of everyday life.
- Positive mental attitude - Smile and the world smiles with you! Is your glass half full or half empty? A good attititude is vital to good health!! So stop and smell the roses in your life and "jest for the health of it" (Patty Wooten).
